Professor of Microeconomics

Before joining the Department of Economics at Kiel University in 2000, he taught Economics at the Universities of Indiana and Laval. After having studied economics at the University of Freiburg and Brock University, he received his PhD at the University of Western Ontario.

His main research interests are in International Economics, Public Economics and Applied Game Theory.

Prof. Raff has published in various journals, including the Journal of International Economics, the Journal of Public Economics, Games and Economic Behavior and the International Journal of Game Theory. He is an associate editor of the Journal of International Economics.
